The Mamaroneck Public Library Board of Trustees is looking for people interested in joining the fundraising committee. If you are interested, please submit a brief resume and include why you are interested in joining to Ellen Hauptman, Board President at ehauptman@mamaronecklibrary.
Teen Summer Reading Program
Write to Us about Your Summer Adventures! Write us a postcard or letter or email about your latest read. Books/comics/audiobooks all count.
- Pick a format
- Postcard (we’ll have blank postcards you can use and decorate or you can supply your own)
- Letter (computer paper, fancy stationery, repurposed birthday card)
- Write a short note or long letter using one of the following options
- Tell us what you thought about the book
- Write as if you’re one character from the book writing to another.
- Decorate it (optional)
- Include
- The author
- The title
- Your full name
- How to contact you (email/phone/snail mail) – please see below
- Mail it
- Drop it off in the teen room mailbox (just outside the door to the teen room)

Mail will be accepted between July 1 and August 31
The mail we get will be displayed on the wall outside of the teen room. Any contact information will be obscured, but we may display your name. Each piece of mail will entitle the writer to a raffle ticket for an Adventure Basket. The winner will be announced September 4th.
The Library is using Network for Good, linked on the MPL website, for direct donations–and that remains the best way for community members who would like to donate to support the MPL. Network for Good is a trusted tool used by many not-for-profit organizations. Donations, which are tax deductible to the extent provided by law, will be acknowledged and will help support the essential functions of the MPL. Those who wish to fund beloved non-essential programming can also make direct donations to the MPL. The MPL is grateful to the community for its support during this difficult time. The MPL has proudly served Mamaroneck for 100 years. With your support, we hope to continue for at least 100 more!
