Senior Benefits Information Centers
Senior Benefits Information Centers (SBICs) help older adults 60 and over and those caring for the elderly achieve a better understanding of Medicare health plans and prescription drug coverage. Information is provided about different types of government programs.
Elder Law Unit
The Elder Law Unit makes information and legal support easily available to the elderly on issues that concern their well-being and safety. The elder law attorneys provide free legal representation, advice, advocacy and referrals for victims of elder abuse.
Meals on Wheels
The Meals on Wheels program provides a nutritious midday meal to senior citizens living in the Town of Mamaroneck, Village of Mamaroneck, and Village of Larchmont who are homebound and unable to prepare meals for themselves.
National Association of Area Agencies on Aging
is a non-profit umbrella group representing America’s national network of 622 Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs). It offers unbiased and free aging resources to benefits seniors and their families.
At Home On the Sound
provides members with the assistance they need to continue to live confidently in their own homes as they age. Services include: transportation to and from appointments and errands; social programs; cultural outings; and much more. Membership is open to all people 60 and over who reside in Mamaroneck, Rye Neck, and Larchmont.
Homebound
From our Library to you, is a service of the Mamaroneck Public Library. We will provide Library materials to homebound residents via personal delivery from a Library volunteer. Please contact the Reference Desk (914-630-5888 for details).
Town of Mamaroneck – Senior Services & Programs
The Town of Mamaroneck offers services for seniors through both the Community Services office and the Town of Mamaroneck Senior Center.
